About Form + Moment

Form + Moment is a Hong Kong-based design studio founded by architect Edward Wu.

Our designs draw inspiration from the objects and memories of daily life, evoking cherished moments and unique experiences. We are fascinated by the interplay between flat representation and tangible form—the transitionary space where a flattened impression takes physical shape.

We believe human memory does not resemble a perfect picture. It exists as an abstract silhouette like an instinctive kid's drawing or a simple outline. Yet, these flat outlines are never empty; they are living spaces traced with emotion.Inspired by the arts of anamorphic illusions and origami, we transform these memories until they pause into physical volume, letting them become part of the architecture of our current lives.

Our name is the anatomy of this vision.

Form is the silent architecture, an enduring anchor for our memories. Moment is the ephemeral human experience. The "+" is the bridge connecting the two, allowing for the translation of a moment into physical form, creating a quiet medium that holds not just space, but people and their stories.
